  3. “Member” shall mean legal individual who sign in/login by creating an account of the website.  
  4. “Personal Information” shall mean and refer to any personally identifiable information that we may collect from you. 
  5. “Website” shall mean the webpages related to NavKiran.
  6. “Mentee” shall mean legal individual who uses our Services to connect with Mentors. 
  7. “Mentor” shall mean legal individual who is providing Mentees with mentorship sessions.
  8. “Third Parties” refer to any website, company or individual apart from the users and NavKiran.

 

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We are committed to respecting your online privacy. We further recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of any personal information you share with us. We may collect the following information:

• Educational qualifications
• Professional qualifications
• The type of opportunities you are interested in
• Social media profiles
We shall use the information to help facilitate a seamless, efficient and safe experience, customized to your needs. Programs need this information to begin your application.
We shall collect and store all such information in our internal servers as long as you are a member of NavKiran, and shall immediately delete all such information upon expiry of your membership.
This privacy policy also applies to data we collect from users who are not registered as members of this site, including, but not limited to, browsing behaviour, pages viewed etc.
We shall also use contact information internally to direct its efforts for service improvement, but shall immediately delete all such information upon withdrawal of your consent for the same.
Further, you may from time to time choose to provide payment related financial information (credit card, debit card, bank account details, billing address etc.) on the Site. We are committed to keeping all such sensitive data/information safe at all times and ensure that such data/information is only transacted over secure Site of approved payment gateways which are digitally encrypted, and provide the highest possible degree of care available under the technology presently in use. We will not use your financial information for any purpose other than to complete a transaction.
Further, transacting risks over the internet can be avoided by you following security practices yourself, such as not revealing account/login related information to any other person and informing us about any suspicious activity or where your account has/may has been compromised.

NavKiran shall not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone unless they are acting under our instructions or we are required to do so by law. We shall use this information to help our partners and funders better understand our services and also to report on public interest in mentoring.

1. Contact you when necessary and is also used for mentorship programs, learn more about you, and analyzing trends.
2. Improve and develop new products, services, and features;
3. Analyze purchase, usage and traffic data.

The Website may include hyperlinks to other websites, applications, content or resources. We have no control over any websites or resources, which are provided by companies or persons other than us.
You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, products or other materials on, or available from, such websites or resources.

Following registration, you can review and change the information you submitted at the stage of registration. An option for facilitating such change shall be present on the website and such change shall be facilitated by you. If you change any information, we may keep track of your old information.
We will not retain in our files information you have requested to remove for certain circumstances. Such prior information shall be completely removed from our databases, including stored ‘back up’ systems.
If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, or to remove your profile so that others cannot view it, you need to promptly inform us of any such incorrect information

If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personally identifiable information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any consistent unauthorized use of your account or access to your password even after changing it.

We treat data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorized access by members inside and outside NavKiran. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us and information that we have accessed.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our use of your information and will always be at the website.

 

AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING

At NavKiran, we do not use automatic decision-making or profiling.

DISCLAIMER

All the information on NavKiran Website is published for general information purpose only, and for providing the Services as mentioned in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We do not represent or promote any specific individual or ogranisation. We develop and design mentorship programmes for the empowerment and enhancement of employability skills etc. of the Mentees, but do not make any guarantees that Mentees shall actually be recruited or employed after going through the mentorship programmes.
NavKiran is not a Mentor in itself and is a platform that simply facilitates interaction between the Mentors and Mentees. We shall not be responsible for any misconduct of Mentors with their Mentees nor vice versa but shall take strict action upon reporting of any such misconduct against the offending Party. We shall not be responsible for any deficiencies or discrepancies in the mentoring methods or styles of the Mentors but shall, upon reporting of the same, take reparative action to correct the situation, at its discretion, in a time-sensitive manner.
